Basket-Type Extractor
Application
This equipment finds extensive application across pharmaceutical, food, and chemical industries, especially in the production of livestock and poultry bone extracts and traditional Chinese medicine formula granules. Based on equipment configurations and production process needs, it supports a variety of operations including decoction, warm soaking, forced circulation extraction, reflux extraction, essential oil extraction and separation, as well as organic solvent recovery.
Equipment Structure:
The System Consists of an Extraction Tank, Control System, Heating System, Cooling System, And Other Components.
Working Principle
Pre-heated material is fed through the inlet; once the liquid level reaches the set height, the forced circulation pump starts, initiating internal material circulation.
The material passes through the tube side of the tubular heat exchanger, where it is heated by steam flowing through the shell side.
The heated material enters the evaporation chamber operating under negative pressure, enabling flash evaporation.
The resulting secondary steam undergoes gas-liquid separation in the separator atop the evaporation chamber and is then directed to the compressor. After being heated by the compressor, the steam returns to the shell side of the evaporator to exchange heat with the material inside the tubes.
Once the material in the system reaches saturation, the extract begins to precipitate.
When the system detects that the material meets discharge conditions, it is pumped out for subsequent processing steps such as thickening, centrifugal separation, drying, and packaging.
