Double effect falling film evaporator

The double-effect falling film evaporator integrates down-flow evaporation with multi-effect evaporation to enhance thermal efficiency and reduce energy consumption. This design retains the advantages of conventional down-flow evaporators, including short heating time and effective preservation of the original flavor of materials, making it particularly suitable for heat-sensitive products.

 

Equipment Structure

The equipment includes but is not limited to the following systems: first and second effect heaters, first and second effect separators, a condenser, an optional heat press pump, a vacuum and drainage system, circulating or conveying pumps, an operating platform, an electric control cabinet, and the valve and piping system.

Working Principle

Under vacuum conditions, a corresponding pressure pump is used to extract and heat the liquid contained within the system. This process primarily utilizes circulation between the pipes to generate the desired reaction.

During evaporation, the continuous circulation and heating of the material increases its flow velocity within the pipes, ensuring uniform heating of the product and effectively preventing the "dry wall" phenomenon.

Scope of Application

 

◆ This equipment is suitable for the concentration of various materials in the food industry, such as tomato sauce, jam, milk, juice, watermelon juice, bone broth extract, hawthorn juice, chili products, honey, and other chemical or food substances. It is particularly ideal for concentrating heat-sensitive materials, as the process is conducted under vacuum at low temperatures. Both intermittent and continuous concentration operations are supported.
